Belemnites are occaisionally found at the White Cliffs opal fields and more commonly at Coober Pedy, but they have never been found here at Lightning Ridge. Aussieopal Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 Hi @silcrete I've found this little piece in amongst a bag of tailings that my kids got as a lucky dip whilst @ lightning ridge it's tiny like 7mm long by 2mm tiny but it looks similar to this bone you posted a photo of ..
