Here's a couple of items. I usually pick up anything that looks interesting...

This first one was found in a Ft. Worth creek bed.

Have you thought of joining the Dallas Paleo Society? They have frequent

fossil trips and a group like that is great for learning..

Thanks for the tip Roz. Yes I have thought about that. My daughter (8) is the one who got me into this mess and she is really interested in fossils, minerals etc. Some time ago (i kind of forgot where and when, may have been at the Perot) we met someone from the Dallas Paleo Society who suggested we come visit and reassured us that it was for all ages / knowledge levels. And Indy, thanks for the photography compliment, it is one of my hobbies (these were taken with my son's cheapo point and shoot, though)
