Ammojoe
I've been out collecting a few times recently, but sadly, I haven't had the time to show the results of my trips... Here's a few finds I've made over the past few months from Charmouth, Dorset, England. These finds were made over three trips, and two of the trips were with fellow member Josh Macefield - I am hoping he will weigh in with his finds too. A selection of Ichthyosaur bones from my first trip. A selection of Ichthyosaur bones from my second trip. A selection of ammonites (including Eoderoceras, Promicroceras, ?Polymorphites, and Oxynoticeras). A selection of Ichthyosaur bones from my third trip. If you have any questions, or would like more information, close ups or anything else, please do ask! Thanks for looking. All the best, Joe Kind regards, Joe

Kosmoceras
Very nice finds Joe; you have had great luck with the bones recently. Looking forward to seeing you both again at the Festival of Geology in a few months time. Regards,

Ammojoe
Thanks all; I appreciate your comments. Darren, yes, I forgot to mention - I shall add clearer photos, but I think it's an Ichthyosaur basioccipital bone, but I don't know much about marine reptiles. Do you think this is a possibility? Kind regards, Joe Kind regards, Joe
DE&i
Hi Joe, I'm pretty sure your correct in saying basioccipital , I've some similar pieces of about the same size and appearance if you need a comparison.
