mikecable
Everybody but me probably knows this already. But if not it's a good tip. If you have a constant zoom stereo scope (Bausch and Lomb Stereozoom, American Optical Cycloptic, etc.), focus at the highest magnification, and then use the zoom function to zoom down to the lowest level that works. This made a huge difference with the four B & L Stereozoom pods I've tested so far. Edited January 28, 2014 by mikecable
Acryzona
Mikecable, I haven't heard that before - will try it next I'm at the scope. Mediospirifer
I played with it tonight. My highest zoom is 3.0. When I start there, the focus stays acceptable until I reach around 2.0, then I have to adjust it again at around 1.5. It may be that the increment is around 0.7 before I need to adjust the focus. If your scopes do better, it could be that mine needs a little adjusting for optimal function. I wouldn't be at all surprised!
