Pandepon
Found a nice little tooth at my first trip to Calvert Cliffs yesterday, came late in the day and couldn't stay long but it was a beautiful find and a great start to my collectionI don't know my fossils but I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say it's a baby mako, it's only about an inch long. obsessed1
Welcome to the forum and to fossil collecting! You are correct, you have found a mako tooth and a nicely colored one to boot. One thing to note is what you have called the front is actually the back of the tooth.
