Type Of Shell Or Clam Fossil?

KLM

Recommended Posts

Hello tonight, I found this somewhere in southern California around 25-30 years ago but I can't remember. Anywhere from Salton Sea to San Diego or down in Mexico a 100 miles or so along the coast. Is this anything? Looks like some type of a shell or clam maybe? It has layers in it visible from the sides. I want to say thanks to those who have responded to my new post! Thanks!!
