Is This Fossilized Bone, Or Just A Rock?

I am completely unfamiliar with bone material (except fish bones) and was wondering if someone could tell me if that's what I have here or if it's just a rock. This piece is Approx. 2.5" x 1.5". Cretaceous, Eagle Ford.

Thanks, guys.

Based on pattern and texture o the area I've circled, I think it's bone:

Possibly reptile???

Looks good, especially the area Auspex circled. I'd search that area closely, particularly for more pieces. It doesn't look like it experienced much weathering or tumble/polish.

Thanks Richard-what's it likely to be, Mosasaur? Or is that impossible to tell? And by the way, I heard back from the Corps, no access :/

And CH4ShotCaller: I will be going over that spot with a fine tooth comb! :)

Thanks for your help!

Being found in the Britton as it looks like it was, I would wonder aloud if it may be a plesiosaur bone piece?
