Shark Tooth Or Rock?

While looking for shells on the beach today I came across this item. We are located in Cape Cod, Ma. I remember finding shark teeth as a kid in Fl and this caught my eye. I brought it home and cannot tell if it is truly a shark tooth or a rock coincidentally worn like one. The first photo is the front and the second is the back. My shark obsessed son thinks it is a hundreds year old bull shark tooth. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Just a rock.....this time. Do a bit of searching on here for local shark teeth spots, and you guys can have a fun time finding tons. Good luck in your hunt.
