SDAmmoniteHunter
I am getting a little discouraged that I am not finding many fossils in my area to add to my collection. With winter coming way to soon, I was wondering if anyone here would know where I would possibly be able to find some unprepared fossils to work on at night and over the winter at home. I went to all my local rock shops and they have some beautiful pieces already prepared but nothing that I would be able to work on. Is there any websites that you could buy something like this on? I am not looking for anything big or complex just something I can get experience on. I would really like an ammonite or something similar to the picture below but open to anything Thanks! -Samantha
tmaier
You just missed it, I mailed out a bunch of free echinoids to five different people (two each). I am echiniod deficient at the moment.
