Should I Trade My Angy For My Friends Meg?

My friend recently purchased a 3-3.5 inch meg that I sorta like. I'm tempted to offer my 3 inch Angy for it... Should I? Here are the two teeth in question.

Other side of each tooth.

Would it be a good deal/trade for me, yes or no? Because I know 3 inches is big for an Angy.

I'd pass. That meg is average quality, and although I'm not certain, I think a quality angy is less common than a quality meg.

I tend to agree with Carcharodontosaurus.

Big Angys are cooler than mid-size Megs.

Personally, I would not even consider it. Angustiden's are much less common and a 3 inch one is on the same "rarity" scale as a 6 -6.5 inch meg in my opinion.

THobern that's sarcasm right :o? He paid 72 for his (I personally NEVER spend over 30 on my teeth) and I got mine for 11$. Someone already offered me 150$ for mine so I know it's worth a bit.

Take the $150 offer!! It will buy you a nice angy and maybe even a nice small meg with the left over $$.

No. That's how much each tooth could be reasonably bought for. If you're comfortable doing so, take the $150, which I'm afraid is 10 times its value.

Yeah, I'd say the angustiden is worth $15, the meg around $40.

Maybe you could share where you are getting your teeth from; I can't remember seeing similar specimens going for those prices...

eBay and patience.

Did you find the Angy? If so, I wouldn't trade it for a tooth that you'll purchase because you don't have a story to go with the tooth - namely, your story of when, where, how you found it.... (if you found it)

I bought my Angy on eBay for 11$ lol. So I guess he's right, patience is key. Also, I didn't trade it, I figured my Angy is a little more valuable :).
