tmaier Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 On the top surface is a very dense collection of crinoid parts. It also looks like there is the "cup" of the crinoid, called the calyx. On the back it looks like the cross section through a coral. If you take a toothbrush and some vinegar, you can clean this fossil up a bit. After scrubbing it down with the vinegar, make sure you rinse it and then soak in water to remove any residual vinegar. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
