Salutations! Found this at Black Cat Mountain in Clarita, Oklahoma. It intrigued me enough to bring it home, but I am rather puzzled as to what it is...any ideas?

Is it pretty small? I'm wondering whether there might not be some trilobite under that matrix.

That's what I was wondering, Auspex! It's about three inches-I can get a picture of scale when I get home. If it were a trilobite, the only thing I could think of is Huntoniatonia for that location.

If it is, it's fairly large for the area!

Are you saying that the dimension I have marked is 3 inches?

At 3", I think we can scratch my trilobite idea...
