fariha
My grandfather found a fossil in the sundarbans. I'm interested to know details about the fossil. Edited January 28, 2015 by fariha

BobWill
Welcome to the forum. I don't know the fossils or formations of south Asia but Dave is right with oyster. Certainly a bivalve and it looks similar to many oysters we find other places. The superfamily Ostreacea is probably one of the most diverse of all and a better identification is only possible with knowledge of the local geological formations and the material typically found in them. Thanks for giving us a look at something from there.
