veganmike
Found in a fossil rich area, lots of belemnites everywhere. On the edge of a small lake, so may be a rounded stone but has cracks in it that look like cracks in egg shell. Round like a turtle's egg.
painshill
I would suggest that's an old ceramic marble with some frost damage. 1 Roger I keep six honest serving-men (they taught me all I knew);Their names are What and Why and When and How and Where and Who [Rudyard Kipling]
TqB
I would suggest that's an old ceramic marble with some frost damage. I agree, I'm afraid it's nothing to do with the Oxford Clay that the belemnites come from. Edited January 28, 2015 by TqB Tarquin
