PaleoWilliam
I have been studying Morocco and found out that a bunch of Moroccan fossils are fake. I can't see part of this skull is fake. How much is fake. Also is this spinosaurus tooth fake or real?
Fossildude19
Don't know about the tooth, but I would say about 94% of that skull is fake, at least, if not 100%. Look at these pics for comparison. Your "skull" s eye sockets are different sizes. And I see very little evidence of actual bone texture. Hope you didn't pay too much for it. Raggedy Man
This is why I typically stay away from Moroccan fossils. Moroccans are experts at creating fake fossils... Edited January 31, 2015 by Raggedy Man ...I'm back.

Troodon
Need a sharper picture of the spinosaur tooth to determine if its real however ones of your size are rarely faked. What you do find on these teeth are areas covered with matrix "sand" covering damaged spots to make it more visually appealing. They also will hide holes or breaks with a filler and paint it the color of the tooth. The skull is all fake.
TyrannosaurusRex
That skull is most definitely a fake. If you want a good genuine skull look for ones from the badlands. I've never seen a genuine one from Morocco. Many times when a fossil is found they are damaged terribly by the finders wrenching them out of the sandstone. The tooth is likely real. Being relatively common there is no reason to waste the time and effort to fake one.
RJB
Heres a couple of pics. I believe these to be real, but both have been repaired. Hope this helps. RB
