Iguanodon are amazing creatures have you been to the National museum of Brussels. They have thirty specimens and lots of other cool fossils. https://www.naturalsciences.be/

If I had to pick a favorite fossil in my collection, it would probably have to be this one:

Adelophthalmus-close-up.thumb.jpg.1f96dac0f13382f0d203c8becaa4e25e.jpg

Adelophthalmus sp.

Wyandotte Limestone, Pennsylvanian

Johnson County, Kansas

Finding an eurypterid so early in my fossiling hobby really was a eureka moment.

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.

I still havent prepped this thing, but the real fun was being out there with two of my boys.

Sorry RB,  that is whats called a concretion and not a dinosaur egg. Lol

One question, how in 'all that is holy' did you guys manage to drag that back?

My youngest son and my ammo buddy took a sledge hammer to it and believe you me, some scary stuff.  i had to leave and go do some lookin around but they did take off most of the rock and then it only weighed about 200 lbs!!!  Ha!!  :)

Non ho ancora preparato questa cosa, ma il vero divertimento era stare là fuori con due dei miei ragazzi.
