Oblong 6.5 In. Fossils From The Middle East

Here's another type of fossil that came in the same formation as the ones I posted in the Middle East forum under 'Ammonites? They're roundish anyway...' . And thanks again to Ludwigia for the information on those fossils!

I read the points on posting images and I apologize for this one being a little washed out. I'm at the mercy of my camera, though.

Pic is a bit fuzzy and I'm viewing this on a mobile device so I could be wrong, but it looks like orthoceras, also sometimes called a straight nautilus.
