Bethelqueze
Hi. I've found something strange in a Dirt Yard in Arkansas. I found it when were about to throw our dirt because we just installed a bunker. Found this along with other rocks and dirt laying on the ground. Just curious what are these. I will really appreciate all your help I can't really clean one of its "face" that's why there are black spots in it. Fossildude19
Hello, and welcome to the Forum. Sorry, but I am not seeing any bone structure to your item. To me, It looks to be a chert nodule or concretion. John K
what Tim said. the black speckles are inclusions called "dendrites", themselves often mistaken for plant fossils. They are actually deposits of metallic minerals, most often iron, manganese or something similar.
