Harry Pristis Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 This is one of the first fossils I ever found in the Santa Fe River (Florida). I think I know what it is, but I'd like confirmation before Google picks it up mis-identified. I think the bone is a cervical vertebra (perhaps C3 or C4) from a camelid. I think it's probably a lamine (llamas) camel because they dominated the Florida Pleistocene. Anyone recognize the vertebra as something else?
