sseth
I had to share my newest additions. These are the largest Lungfish teeth I have ever come across. They are both Kem Kem in origin and are real monsters even in my large hands. The largest is nearly 3 inches. Spinosaurus would have lost a few teeth trying to catch these guys. _____________________________________ Seth www.fossilshack.com www.americanfossil.com www.fishdig.com

-Andy-
Ooh pretty~ How big do you reckon these guys got? Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
sseth
Based on the commonly accepted measurements of those alive today, the largest tooth probably came form a fish between 3.5 and 4 meters long. Not quite as big as the large tooth found in Nebraska a few years ago but still a monster. _____________________________________ Seth www.fossilshack.com www.americanfossil.com www.fishdig.com

Velociraptor99
A twelve foot lungfish, holy crow! Amazing finds, all the more reason to get to where those Gyracanthus (giant lungfish) dorsal spines are near me! So I say to you, Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and door will be opened for you. -Jesus Christ
Troodon
If your interested in learning more about Lungfish tooth plates a really great paper came out in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology: Developmental anomalies in the tooth plates and jaw bones of lungfish.
