NSRaddict_1
Bob Carroll has a new book out 'Trilobites of Black Cat Mountain' by George P. Hansen , the book is about Bob and Black Mountain Trilobites . Great reference material . Get a copy , just got mine and look forward to the great read . Hunting fossils is fun , but discovering is better !
CreekCrawler
I've seen some of his work on those Trilo's in pictures. He has mastered the art of prepping fossils. His specimens seem to leap off the matrix.

NSRaddict_1
How much?? Bob said $20 (plus S&H) , although price is marked $25.95 , so a great deal . Would need several buyers , don't want to do a book at a time , so at least 10 people before I contact Mr. Carroll . Have been reading mine and it is great material , well laid out and concise , author did an excellent job . Hunting fossils is fun , but discovering is better ! NSRaddict_1
The book came yesterday and it is really good book. Lots of pics etc. Alright , I am just about finished with mine , very interesting read . Wish Pictures were a little more detailed , to small and black and white , pages the size they are needed just two pictures per page so they could be made larger more detail . Seems DPS (Dallas Paleo Society) is having the Author for a presentation and then field trip to BCM . Watch for Rattlesnakes they are big ones in the quarry .
