Does anyone have a piece of root from a T Rex tooth?

Since I can't afford a T Rex tooth, I would like to have a piece of root from a T Rex tooth just so I can have something from T Rex. Does anyone have a piece of root, even just a small piece? Thanks -Cameron

A piece of the root would be difficult to ID. Tough to ID as a tooth root, and even tougher to label as T rex. Most T rex teeth fond are shed teeth, which means they have no root...it has been resorbed as the tooth was replaced in life. So T rex crowns are actually a lot more common. And fragments of a crown can be IDed with certaintly if it has the serrations. Over the years I have found quite a few little frags of t rex teeth. They should be fairly accessible in the commercial market.

Ahh okay, I get what you mean. Basically what I'm asking for is if people have a rex tooth and a piece breaks off of the tooth/crown or if they are restoring a tooth and they have a little piece that they don't use/can't fit back intothe tooth when restoring it :)

Try Fossil Era, I have seen lately that they have some small parts of Tyrannosaur teeth like Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus, which are very similar to Tyrannosaurus rex. They are relatively cheap but if you are in a place other than the U.S., change the price to whichever currency you use, I was almost caught out once with a near six inch C. megalodon tooth for a very good price, then I changed it and it was around $300.

Thanks for the info. I already have a Daspletosaurus/Gorgosaurus tooth. I'm just looking for Rex material haha
