I would just like to showcase the art of Ronald Cometti, a New Zealand artist who did many great paintings of New Zealand flora and fauna, both living and extinct. I was lucky enough to see some of Ron's painting shortly after his death as he lived quite near me, including the picture of a Haast's Eagle attacking a Giant Moa shown below . I also own one of his books, New Zealand Through Time, which follows the story of New Zealand's wildlife and geology from the Cretaceous to the 1930s.
