MOROPUS Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 This first teeth comes from central coast area of Portugal, and it`s Late Miocene-early Pliocene era.Look at its wonderfull reddish colour. Northern Sharks Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 Your first tooth looks to be a tiger shark either with both root tips missing or possibly a sympyseal tooth, and yes, very nicely colored. The second is an anterior Cretolamna, probably C. biauriculata marocanna, but possibly C. appendiculata. The first one, from Portugal is Galeocerdo aduncus, Miocene epoch The others ones C. appendiculata can be correct, and cames from Maastrichtian of Kourigba bassin. MB Hola! Soy de Bilbao, y veo que eres el unico de este forum que eres de por aqui cerca! Me interesa mucho el mioceno y plioceno marino (sobre todo invertebrados), asi como por cercania a mi, del cretacico medio y final. Si tienes alguna duda sobre fosiles de esta epoca, no dudes en consultar en el forum, ya que colaboro con el museo paleontologico municipal de Estepona, y si tengo alguna duda, pues llamo alli. Adeu!
