Dylan_Harris
Hello, I have this mixed in with a rock collection I acquired a few years back. Not sure where to have this checked out. Also not sure the authenticity or where this was found if it's real. Any input on what it could be/where to have this evaluated would be great! I'm located near Hagerstown, MD currently. Thank you! Trickworm
Some better pictures would be nice with something for scale. Hard to tell from the angle. A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
Troodon
Welcome to the forum. Agreed need more pictures with size. Does not look like a tooth or claw but the additional pictures will help.
Auspex
To me, it looks like a partial internal mold of a bivalve. 1 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! Auspex
I am reminded of an internal mold of Isognomon maxillata, the 'purse oyster' of Calvert Cliffs.
