Welcome to the forum. Those nautiloids were related to the present-day nautilus which grows in a coil like a snail instead of straight like yours. The partitions separated air chambers that filled in with minerals as it fossilized. The body chamber was much larger and, as usual, is missing. There are some remains of the siphuncle in the center. It was a tube that could drain water out of the chambers and replace it with air to adjust buoyancy and orientation for swimming like the swim bladder in a fish.
