I had a muddy but good hunt today at NSR. I found a nice variety of items.

Good finds, Jarrod. The Edison Battery Oil bottles are always fun. :)

Very nice work! Some of those verts look related.

I have got to make a trip out to TX and do the North Sulphur sometime. We made a trip to central Alabama last October in some Cretaceous chalk and found one fish vert and a couple of chunks of sea turtle pelvis. I was so hoping for something mososaurish...

Thanks John. I think these three are related. They were found all in the same small area and look fresh out of the shale. I found another nice vert in that same area awhile back with shale on it. Now if I could just find where it's coming from. lol

Best part (other than the finds)....you timed that trip perfectly between the two water level rise.

Lol yeah timing seems to be everything. I was watching the water level close and stayed close to exit points just in case the forecast was wrong.

I'm hoping to go tomorrow. Using the National Weather Service site, what water level are you looking for? 4 feet?

It's 4.5ft now so you should be good. The water will still be flowing so be careful and good luck.
