Can someone ID this for me?

Found in a creek near my home in Oklahoma. Is it part of an ancient tree branch or some animal?

I would say crinoid column. You can see a cirrus attachment point on lateral.

indeed a part of a crinoid stalk.

The whole animal looked like this:
