sdsnl
i heard it is a Colombia amber. but i can't sure Fossil collectors have differing opinions. Some think that all fossilized resin should be called amber; some think the younger ones (such as yours from Colombia) should be called copal. Copal has a lighter color (older amber such as from the Baltic sea or Dominican Republic are more yellow) and is more easily damaged by heat or organic solvents. From what I have read, not enough research has been done to determine the age, but for now Colombian amber/copal is believed to be from the Pliocene or Pleistocene.
