jax
It has been a while since I have posted on here. Been busy with work and sports with my son. My son is now old enough where he is ready to go hunting with me, and last more than 5 mins.... So i took him to a local creek to sift for sharks teeth. We didnt find much, but it was good to get back out and look for teeth. My son found his first Ptychodus tooth, and I managed to find another Fossil Pearl. They seem to find me almost. This piece ended up in my screen and I just happened to notice the pearl stuck to the shell. Edited August 13, 2016 by jax

JohnJ
Hey stranger! Quick question, are you sure that is not a roundish pebble stuck to the matrix on the oyster? It looks as if it is not attached to the shell.... 1 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ

When it's wet, it has a silverish shine to it.

Most of my spots to find them have been built over. This one came very unexpected.
