It looks like you may have something in the line of a Platyceras or Salpingostoma sp. gastropod.  Do you know the location and age of the deposit it was found in?

It's a gastropod. Really nice one, too. :)

Looks like a Platystoma ventricosa. 

Maybe JeffreyP can confirm or deny.

I'm voting gastropod too. I'm guessing Platystoma or Platyceras (internal mold). It is Lower Devonian, probably Helderberg Group.
