Can anyone help identify this specimen? It's all of .5 by .25. It came from the Buffalo River in Elma, by Bullis Road, and it's from the Middle Devonian. I want to think it's a placoderm tooth, I'm looking for more experienced collectors to confirm or reject that.

That's okay, thanks for the bump :)

To me it's the bumpy pattern on the material that gives it away as Placoderm, although I can't be sure, other types of fish material can have that too (Acanthodians).
