fifbrindacier
It would be useful, please, to show us photos of their pygidium. Non the less, i agree the first two ones have great chances to be calymenes. "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
I think the last one could be a Proetida, and may be of the Proetus granulosus species, but i am not an expert, so wait for the more knowleageable's opinion. One question though, what is a "pygidium"? I'm not very good with trilobites... I'm very willing to take pics of them, but I first need to know what they are! The pygidium is the tail, it is sometimes the only difference between two species and so indispensable to identify them as is the cephalon (the head). 1 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Max-fossils
Yes, I do indeed think they are all from Morocco, but Ike it sure. Here are some more pics of the pygidium and the cephalon in order. Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil. Max-fossils
I am very happy with all your help for identifying the trilobites, I'm really happy! But I'm gonna ask all of you one more thing: does anyone know the location and age of trilobites 3 and 4? I know this is a lot harder, but I'm asking in case you know. Thank you again so much! Ok, thank you again! That was a quick reply! Anyways, you seem to know a heck of a lot about trilobites!!! I must say I am very impressed. Thank you again for all your help, and next time I have a trilobite for ID, I'll send you a DM so that I don't bother the others Max Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil. Kane
@Max-fossils I hope you don't keep it to private message. Many of us appreciate both seeing lovely specimens and delight in pinpoint accuracy identification. It is hardly bothering anyone - I know I love to see what people find! Nice group of trilos you have there. 1 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Nice group of trilos you have there. Ok, well if you think it's interesting, I won't keep it to private message... I also enjoy looking at fossils from others, but that's because most of the time they are amazing... Mine here are just mere trilobites that I don't think are worth much. But I can imagine too that trilobite-lovers would rejoice seeing this. Thank you for telling me what's best! Best regards, Max Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil. sdsnl
Yes please keep posting them publicly, so all of us can learn! Imagine if you are searching around the web trying to identify your fossil, seeing a past forum post of something similar would help!

For example, that is the first time that i was able to identify the family of one (proetida), so, even if i wasn't good with the species, i am glad.
