Harry Pristis
The medial phalanx is from the side toe of a tapir. 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
jpc
The vert might be a gar, but it is awfully big and the pix are a bit dark.

jcbshark
Thanks Charlie, that would be a true monster. With it being incomplete I'm not too hopeful to get a positive ID but it looks differnent from a lot of the others I've collected with alligator gar getting so big I imagine it's possible Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
