Found this today in the pile outback from Aurora. Not sure what it is but it is all intact.

I can include a picture of the back if the tooth if needed but my camera broke just have to find my old one now.

Found one that looks similar to yours. I believe it is a posterior carcharocles chubutensis..... I'm no expert though... only been hunting teeth for over a year now.

the only thing i can think of is a posterior chub, the odd thing is i see no signs of serrations on the tooth at all it almost looks like it has a cutting edge.

i mean there is no doubt that the shape of it is right its just odd that a tooth in such great condition would be without serrations.

I think it's chubutensis also. Although some pics on elasmo show posterior hastalis teeth that resemble this one. The root is more meg like though.
