Stan Simpson
This is the largest fossil I have found to date. It has a weight of 6 lbs 3 oz. It obviously comes from a fairly large animal. It was recovered from the same dredge noted in the past near Houston Texas. Can anyone identify the bone and possibly the animal. Thank you all for all your help. Fruitbat
This resembles the distal end of the tibia of a proboscidean (mammoth or mastodon). -Joe 2 Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library
