Stan Simpson
I really don't have a clue just what this fossil can be. My first guess is a partial skull but I really don't know. It was recovered near Houston TX in a dredge. Any help to identify it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
jpc
definitely part of a skull. Not going to tell you which part or which animal, (cuz I don't know) but it looks modern.
HamptonsDoc
Maybe an acetabulum (part of the pelvis where with femoral head sits)? Just a guess... Lets see what others say.
Peto Lithos
Looks to be in the ear region.
jpc
not an acetabulum... too many nooks and crannies and curves and diversions. Back end of the skull. Ear region is a good guess.

Right side of the back of the skull. I think you have part of the brain cavity as well. 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
