Unknown Fossil Possibly A Partial Skull

I really don't have a clue just what this fossil can be. My first guess is a partial skull but I really don't know. It was recovered near Houston TX in a dredge.

Any help to identify it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Maybe an acetabulum (part of the pelvis where with femoral head sits)?  Just a guess... Lets see what others say.

not an acetabulum... too many nooks and crannies and curves and diversions.  Back end of the skull.  Ear region is a good guess.

Looks to be in the ear region.

Definitely this. This is a mammal ear region. Right side of the back of the skull. I think you have part of the brain cavity as well.
