Nautilus or ammonite?

Hi 

 

This is ammonite or nautilus fossil?

Location: Grabówka ,Częstochowa, Poland

Size: near 21 mm x 22-23 mm

Age:Jurassic

I think that it is an Ammonite, but I not an expert. Wait for others to reply!!!:ammonite01:

I think, ... in Nautilus, the crenulate keel of the ventral ornamentation is not present, but in Ammonite could be there (not in all cases), so, I'll go with Ammonite in the distinguishing character.

We need better pictures that show more distinguishing features in order to decide properly. Everything else is guesswork at this point. I also tend more towards ammonite.
