Why do I love sharkteeth?

Why do I love sharkteeth?

Let me count the ways.

To get to the jist of my list, could take me several days.

I love to find them in water, even better on dry land.

But my favorite place to find them, is nestled in my hand.

I love all types of sharkteeth.

No matter how big or small.

I really, really love them.

I love them one and all.

The moral of my story, I hope you all can see, I really love sharkteeth whether Megs or Winkleri.:D

Haha .... that's awesome.  A poem that would make Dr. Seuss proud.

Someone is in the mood to rhyme.

Hope it is not all the time.:D

Tony likes fossils of every kind.

Ynot just likes to find.

Shark teeth are a childhood dream.

Of the crop they are the cream.

But the cherry on the top,

Is whatever fossil I do not got!!!!:thumbsu:

Like it very much I do!

I can rhyme and so can you.

Taking some license with my favourite poem.   Poe's 'the Raven'

5 minute spontaneous version.  Will have to work on it when alone with my thoughts during long treks in our badlands.

The Raptor

Once upon a badlands day so dreary
I wandered through the hoodoos weary
Turning over many a rock and curious stone.

Suddenly I saw the a sickled sliver
Could it be a dino tooth a glimmer?
'Tis just a shiny rock and nothing more

Etc., etc.

The theropod perches on a ledge, fangs serrated
Its stare unflinching as I implore
'When shall I find another tooth?'
Quoth the Raptor ...'Nevermore'

A swift walk to the beach,

the first one there.

A great day is upon you,

you can feel it in the air.

Low tide is soon coming,

the water is leaving the shore.

Your hearts pace quickens,

thinking of the treasures you could score.

As the waves lap the shoreline,

your eyes are focused and true.

Fore every wave there's a chance,

of something old, yet something new.

Time goes by quickly,

shark teeth are lining your pockets.

When all of a sudden,

your eyes fall from their sockets.

It's too good to be true,

if it were, it'd be sweet!

A Meg tooth just lying there,

root and serrations complete!

Your day is now over,

a very satisfying win.

And now you can't wait,

for the next trip to begin!

So what's with all this poetry and not being used for bids?!  This thread is being moved to the auction topic.

If it aint in the form of a poem it does not count.

I spend my days digging in the peace

searching for mastodon teeth

fragments all I find

even though I dig there all the time

Oh well, time will tell
