Rockhounder1
I find these in the Mancos Shale formation in Colorado. I also find shark teeth and un-serrated teeth as well as various shells, ammonites, and trilobites. I have been unable to identify these. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FossilDudeCO
I believe the Mancos shale is Late Cretaceous. I cannot help with the ID's however.
ynot
Can not be trilobites there if it is cretaceous. If You set the tooth down and take pictures from different sides it nay help with an id. That being said - I think it may be a Ptychodus Tooth/teeth. Take a look at this thread... Tony 3 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Vieira
Looks like Ptychodus teeth for me.
Rockhounder1
Thank you! My finds closely resemble the Ptychodus teeth. However, I have not found the flatter variety. I will have to continue looking. I am posting pictures of other fossils found along with these.

Rockhounder1
I am not sure if this is a fossil. This is the second one I have found. The first one I left in place and did not have a camera available.
Vieira
Those are shark teeth indeed. The first one is a fragment, without the root. Wait for the specialist comments, to help in the species identification.
Vieira
This last one I can't help you... I don't know what it is.
jpc
The teeth in the first post are indeed Ptychodus, a Cretaceous clam eating shark. Well known form the Mancos form what I have heard. The last one, the dirt tubes are wasp nests... modern .
