We were out with the Cub Scouts yesterday at the NSR.  Found this, unsure of what it is.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pic #2 looks sort of wood like. Could you take better pictures of the surfaces?

That's what I thought as well, if it is bone, it is far to random for me to be of any use.

Looks like it could be a piece of Cretaceous turtle plastron.

It's Cretaceous turtle plastron. I have a piece that looks very similar.

I think it could be a mammoth tooth plate fragment.
