MSirmon
I am headed to Hunt TX this weekend and hoping to sneak out for a little fossil hunting. Any suggestions for looking in the area?
JohnJ
Finding outcrops in the area and fossils will not be a problem. Look closely in the rudist reefs for echinoids. Good luck. 1 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
JamieLynn
I go out to Ingram regularly and have found large clams (deer hearts), lots of spiral gastropods and plentiful oysters. I have not found any echies though I really want to. John, how can one identify the rudist reefs to find said echies? I can mostly identify the beige/buff crumbly clay cliffs that typically have fossils, but have had a hard time finding echinoids. Any help would be appreciated! www.fossil-quest.com
