Troodon
Mike this is not a tooth but a bone. A tooth would have enamel on it. I cannot help you with the ID
ynot
Hey Mike, I think it is a tilly bone from a fish, 3 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." ynot
Well, the good news - It is not a bone fragment. Maybe a tooth fragment, but I am not sure. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Fruitbat
I would say that the second specimen is a river-tumbled piece of mastodon enamel. -Joe 1 Illigitimati non carborundum Fruitbat's PDF Library
GeschWhat
The texture of the first one looks like what you would see on a fish skull. Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo

ynot
Last one looks like a piece of a rib bone. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Mike Price
Ok... Thanks ynot. I did find some "teeth" today....) I slow rolled about 10 miles of coastline today, 2 different beaches, and these are a few of the nicer things I found. I really like the teeth and the long black hollow bird bone? I also walked a mile on a old eroding levy at the back of a chemical plant (with permission) and found some fossil clams, a few other shells and a 10" plate of fossil soup. Theres a lot of this type material being exposed. There is really no telling exactly where the material to build the old levy come from. It was most likely brought here on barges 50 yrs ago. The same way they still bring dirt and rock for the levys today. I'll have to visit that place again soon tho. Overall, it was a good day for me along the clear and sunny Texas coast. Good evening all......
