Alessandro de luca
Hi all , i found these yesterday in walton on the naze beach. I have zero experience in fossils . Can anyone tell me what are they? Thanks
ynot
Welcome to TFF! The larger piece looks like it may be petrified wood. More pictures from other angles would help to prove this. The other piece looks like a small broken chert nodule. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Scylla
The larger one could be bone. Difficult to tell from the pictures. Depending on the formation it came from could be whale fossil. http://www.discoveringfossils.co.uk
