Jobro1016
I found this cool rock in part of a landscape rock bed. Honestly I know very little about fossils and was hoping someone could help me finding out what kind of fossil this is. Since I found it in a man-made rock bed it may be from a different location which is why I've had trouble finding information. The specimen does have crystalline on the inside which I've heard happens sometimes. Please share if you might know what this is!

Kane
This looks like a section of rugose coral. There are several great Paleozoic deposits in Michigan. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

I agree with everyone else. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason

Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum,. It's a cross section through a Rugose coral, as previously stated. Neat find.
