Miocene_Mason
An orthocerid and two ammonoids, cut and polished. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
Fossildude19
Per the Forum Rules and Community Standards, we don't do valuations of fossils here. Check auction sites for similar fossils. Personally - the fossils are real, but they have been cobbled together to look like they were found that way. Common practice for Moroccan fossils. snolly50
These are very common fossils in a typical display presentation, but they are beautiful and would make a nice decor statement. If the price is low and you like them, why not? 1 Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, also are remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. - Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See
Malcolmt
Treat these as you would a piece of art reproduction. If you like it and it has a place in what you want to display then go for it. The price on these is generally reasonable.

pascazio
Thanks, everyone. I let them go. It was at auction and the other bidder obviously wanted them more than I did. At least I got a bit more education in the process.
-Andy-
Don't worry, these are relatively common. Do you do online shopping? Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
aplomado
These types of fossils are all over ebay... you would have no trouble finding one even more attractive.
