fossilchewb
Could this be some sort of fossilized egg? Or is it just a concretion? Any help in identifying this would be much appreciated. Note: It was found in the Sonoran desert, laying on the surface of the ground in an area that had recently been leveled for house construction. Fossildude19
Concretion on this one, I believe. Possibly a chert nodule. Neat looking, though. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." ynot
I also agree with a concretion. The "shell" is to thick and has no eggshell texture to it. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." HamptonsDoc
Looks like a concretion. Would like to think duck egg but don't think it is.
