JarrodB
I had a great day the North Sulphur River. I found my first red mosasaur tooth and 2 Native American Drills which are very rare to find in that are. Numerous other shark teeth, mosasaur verts and a cool old cork style bottle in the pic. CrazyDiamond
Wow, all of those were in the Sulphur River - that's awesome and gives me hope that maybe I'll get that lucky. Do you go in at the fossil park?

Do you go in at the fossil park? NSR is full of cool stuff. Be sure to check out my gallery for a sample of the treasures it holds. I normally only go to the fossil park after a big rain or rise in the river. Try some of the numerous other bridges in the area like 904, 2990, 2675. All have cool stuff. Ok, I will check out your gallery and see what you have. Last Sunday I finally drove around a bit when I was finished and ran across a couple bridges, but I don't know which ones. The bridges did, however, look like they would be a bit harder to access. I walked really far down the river this time and it seems like both times that I found sharks teeth, I found them not far from the steps at Ladonia, or well like the first really good gravel bar right there close to the bridge. I about died of a heat stroke this last time LOL, I probably would have found more if I just stayed in that one spot. Once the heat starts to get to me, my searching gets a bit lax and I don't find much.

This time of year it's hard to go far in the heat unless you pack huge amounts of water.
