Haravex
A friend in merzouga was showing minerals and I came across this one that looks to me to be a skin impression any ideas would be grateful matt
Kane
This looks geologic to me. @ynot would probably be able to tell you more about this as it seems very familiar... The name for this particular type escapes me at the moment. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
FossilDAWG
Looks like it may be botryoidal hematite, an iron mineral. Don
ynot
I agree with FossilDAWG, botryoidal hematite. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." ynot
I think this is also hematite. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Haravex
Ok so looked through a to z of minerals and think it is geothite anyone else think this is correct?
ynot
Goethite and hematite are very close mineralogically. It could be either. Do a streak test and specific gravity to see which it is.
