Rock or Fossil?

This doesn't look man made, to me. :unsure:

I think this is geologic rather than a fossil, though.

The imprint looks like a pebble was loosened/ cell out of it... Maybe some sort of conglomerate? :headscratch:

Hmm, thats interesting. The broken part (on the first picture) looks exactly like broken bricks laying around our house. I am convinced it is un-natural. Maybe someone used it as a cement on conglomerate rocks, or a course gravel, or maybe put gravel on the cement for aesthetics. If it was a conglomerate rock, one would think there would be evidence of larger pebbles still in the rock.

Not a great example, but still shows the similarities:

It could either be a conglomerate or a brick- composition of both varies tremendously on the formative process. If you could tell us where it was found we could be more certain- if there's no formation with red sandstones then natural conglomerate is right out. I'm already leaning man made brick though

You need to be way more specific. What was the nearest town? were there any rocks around it? was there more of these rocks?
